I initially heard about @aatifstudio from a friend. She introduced me to his work and went on and on about the symbolism in his art. I got her this piece as a present, and she could not have been happier. She absolutely loved it and so did I. This is definitely a great gift idea.
Prior to ordering this piece I directly communicated with the artist with questions. I learned that these are canvas prints and not framed prints which is exactly what I wanted. Shipping took a little longer AS EXPECTED because of international shipping (I had this piece shipped to Michigan). I received the piece in very secure packaging and it arrived looking absolutely beautiful. It came as shown in the image and the size written on the website is true to what arrived in the mail.
This piece has so many layers of meaning and artistic decisions. The more you look at it, the more symbolism comes out. I later messaged the artist to ask about his artistic decisions and about the details I might have been missing. He was incredibly kind and generous with his time. He explained every part of the painting. There were so many things that I did not initially notice. If you have bought this piece, I highly suggest talking with the artist about the details of this piece, it will pleasantly surprise you.
The best part of this experience was being able to communicate with the artist himself. It adds greater depth to artwork rather than just being something pretty hanging on a wall. Also knowing how involved he is in charity work regarding issues concerning Muslim countries makes me feel all the better about supporting his work. For example, he is currently donating 50% of the proceeds to disaster relief from the earthquakes in Syria/Lebanon/Turkey. And I have seen him donate proceeds for other purposes in the past as well.
